This is the incarnation of the group that saw bassist Sara Lee (formerly of Robert Fripp’s new wavey League of Gentlemen) replace Dave Allen who had by that time left to form Shriekback with XTC keyboardist Barry Andrews.

    Shriekback and early Gang of Four - tons of live available, mostly radio broadcasts, mostly FLAC, largely posted by circle and all preserved in the Dave Sez archive. All it takes to trigger the flood is a comment requesting the Gang of Four or Shriekback megaposts to start ... cheers, Dave Sez.

    merci beaucoup. I think I have most of the Gang Of Four stuff from the megapost in 2012 Dave...thanks again for that and for everything else you've so kindly shared with us all. I was wondering....do you know of anyone who has live material/rarities by Levitation, Terry Bickers and Bic Hayes' post-House of Love/Cardiacs band? They only released one LP, 'Need For Not', and EP 'Coterie' and some 7" singles, but the Meanwhile Gardens sessions are highly thought of, although up until now unreleased officially. It's mainly live material I'm looking for, but whatever's out there fascinates me....saw them in Brighton in 1992, never quite recovered from the experience :)
