Saw them around that time at Pittsburgh's Stanley Theater. Their gear truck had been stolen so they had to play with all borrowed equipment. They kicked ass. No doubt feeling compelled to compensate for their missing Godzilla head. I do believe that the band Detective opened for them.
ReplyDeleteMy brother and I saw them once as 'Great White Underbelly' which is the name they used to play smaller venues before going out on the road for their big time tours. Was no more than 6 ft from the stage. Couldn't hear right for a week.
