*While the actual live studio performance was recorded a few weeks prior on September 22, 1992 at Maida Vale Studios, London, it was transmitted over the BBC Radio 1 airwaves on this evening in November. The power-trio lineup consisted of Polly Jean Harvey (vocals/guitar), Rob Ellis (drums), and Steve Vaughan (bass). 

This broadcast took place right before the band traveled to Cannon Falls, Minnesota, in December 1992 to officially record the Rid of Me album. This performance is widely celebrated among collectors and bootleggers for its fierce delivery and minimal arrangements, showcasing PJ Harvey at her absolute heaviest in the early '90s alternative rock scene.
