Type: Unauthorised bootleg
Format Flac
Source: Soundboard
Quality: Most Excellent
Lineage: SBD > MR > Cass > DAT > CDR >
WAV > CDR; via EAC/trade from Morgan Evans <morgan_no9@yahoo.com> >
EAC > CDWAV > SHN
The lineup is reportedly the following:
Jerry Garcia - Guitar
Jorma Kaukonen - Guitar
Jack Cassady - Bass
Mickey Hart - Percussion
Spencer Dryden - Percussion
Set List:
1. Been All Around This World [04:00]
2. Big Boss Man [06:28]

Notes:
Great disc! The sound quality is exceptional IMO, it almost sounds like it
was recorded in a studio setup.
Known Flaws:
A high pitched tone which was present on my CDR copy at roughly 0:12 - 0:23
of track 01 was edited out using EAC's wave editing function.
A 1-second pause at about 14:19-14:20 on the master dt06 was edited out also using EAC.
Many thanks to original poster for this one.
Enjoy or Not!

The 53 minute crucifixion of Bill Hicks
The audio recording of this Chicago performance goes by the title I'm Sorry Folks and the bootleg video is referred to as "The Infamous Chicago Show." During this particular performance, Bill was having a bad night. Having endured a legion of bad days at work, my sympathies immediately went out to Hicks. He's on the stage, things are clearly not gelling, and to make matters worse members of the audience are heckling him. It's not that Bill Hicks couldn't handle hecklers, but these people hit him from a point of view that was like cryptonite for Bill -- the lame, moronic mewlings of peons drunk and on the town, 9-to-5-ers on a Saturday night hurling verbal bile balloons that wouldn't pass muster in any schoolyard of note.

Gene Clark - Live @ Ebett's Field-Denver, CO - Feb. 19,1975
The late, and oh-so-great Gene Clark. Former Byrd who was hugely influential in the very beginnings of what we now refer to as Alt Country or Americana. Clark had as much or more to do with "Cosmic American Music" as his contemporary and bandmate, Gram Parsons. This is a fine sounding show with the band and Clark putting in a high, lonesome performance. I love this kinda shit.

Delaney & Bonnie & Friends - A&R Recording Studios, NYC - July 22, 1971
To the Dad's who visit the 'Stomp - Happy Father's Day. Best wishes, always, and have a fan-fucking-tastic day!
Here's a popular, not-so-rare, not-quite-as-long-as-you-wish-it-was, FM broadcast we used to have posted at the former 'Stomp, maybe here, also, too lazy look. I'm thinking it was lost in the MegaUpload debacle.
However, here it is again @ 320.
I've been listening to this in my car for about a month as I to-and-fro around my town. It's fucking great summer time music. If you by some chance don't have it, by all means treat yerself to some stellar songs. If you do have it, pull it up again and take a listen, you will remember why you harvested the show in the first place
Enjoy. Or not.

Transfered with a Nakamichi Dragon in 1998 or 1999. Further improvements in June
2005 with Macintosh Pro Tools 6.4. Quite a few radio transmission noises and micro
dropouts were eliminated and the levels were evened out in a lot of places. Also,
there are a few extra tracks for the spoken intros.
Notes: This is a most excellent show by the Doobies. The Sound quality is excellent.
I highgly recommend this show especially if you are a Doobie Brothers fan. This is
when the Doobies were hot. Give it a listen.

The Cars - Live @ El Macambo - Toronto Sept. 14, 1978
For me, The Cars started out as a great rock band. Catchy songs that were too Rock to be strictly New-Wave, and with just enough Punk spirit to be strictly Rock. They put the synth to great use, weaving it perfectly into the band's sound instead of following the then dubious trend of nerve-grating keyboard wankery.
Then, somewhere along MTV's insidious and dastardly take-over of music, The Cars lost the plot and I lost interest. However, this set represents the band giving a full-on Rock show. You can feel in the music that the band is definitely digging it and playing as a great live band should, warts-and-all. Most of the cuts here are from their self-titled debut, including They Won't See You, which didn't make the final cut for The Cars. Also features early versions of Nightspots, Since I Held You, and Candy-O which would later appear on their 2nd album.
This comes from an FM Source and is brought to in Mp3 @ 320.
Enjoy! Or not.
