The band perform highlights from its new album, Reflektor, recorded live from Capitol Studios in Los Angeles.
The performance came a day after the death of Lou Reed. Arcade Fire paid tribute to the much beloved artist by performing two of his songs: "Perfect Day," from Reed's 1972 album Transformer, and "Satellite Of Love," from the same album. Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler also dedicated the band's song "Afterlife," from Reflektor, to Reed.
Set List: "Reflektor" "Flashbulb Eyes" "Afterlife" "It's Never Over (Oh Orpheus)" "We Exist" "You Already Know" "Normal Person" "Haiti" "Here Comes The Night Time" "Supersymmetry" (With Lou Reed's "Perfect Day" - "Satellite Of Love") "Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)"

UFO are an English rock band formed in London in 1968. They became a transitional group between early hard rock and heavy metal and the new wave of British heavy metal. The band's current lineup includes vocalist Phil Mogg, lead guitarist Vinnie Moore, rhythm guitarist and keyboardist Neil Carter, bass guitarist Rob De Luca, and drummer Andy Parker. They have gone through several line-up changes, leaving Mogg as the only constant member, and had two breaks (1983–1984 and again from 1989 to 1991). The band also featured former Scorpions guitarist and Michael Schenker Group (MSG) founder Michael Schenker, who was a member of UFO from 1973 to 1978 and rejoined the band sporadically between 1993 and 2003, when Moore replaced him. In May 2018, Mogg announced that he would retire from UFO after one last tour as a member of the band in 2019;however, the band plans to resume their farewell tour in 2022. ~Wiki

You
will find this listed all over the internet as a New York recording. It
is not, doing some research online I found KMET-FM is a Los Angeles
Radio station. Shana the person doing the introduction worked there in
1975 and There is a Record Plant Studios in Los Angeles. I find the
sound excellent, no real crowd except for the people hanging out in the
studio. Enjoy!

I received these files from a collector friend in the last couple of days. It sounds to me like Animals has been taken from an improved copy of the source used for the earlier 'Extraction Tapes' vinyl release. Sources appear to have been speed corrected. Unfortunately I don't have artwork, other than that I've found on the web and embedded into the FLACs. Sound is way better than the vinyl transfers I've heard. All in all an amazing release. Beechwoods, 2nd March 2014
Review below from Collector's Music Review: Soon to see release is this Pink Floyd disk “From Abbey Road to Britannia Row”. Subtitled ‘The Extraction tapes’ this CD features that rarest of beasts. Unissued Pink Floyd studio outtakes. Remember the fuss that came around the Beatles ‘John Barrett’ tapes or the ‘Revolution’ leak? This could, subjectively, be Pink Floyd’s answer to that.
Consisting of outtakes collected from both the “Wish You Were Here” and “Animals” albums, the disk is the first time that any of the outtakes have been released in this format. A very exciting time for PF collectors.
After extensive consultations between Drafte, Andy, and myself I have come to the conclusion that this is a boot. However if you have the promo edition of this pressed up by United Artists then you have a record that is worth one hundred seventy five gazillion dollars. Better start going through that record collection again. See scans
