Thanks SW nice program and ‘Horses’ was and still is a fine album and worth celebrating its 30th. Bought it when it came out at Art School! Try to get everything Patti so it’s appreciated
ReplyDeleteThank You!!!
ReplyDeleteI bought it the week it came out (well, the week it first appeared in our record store here in Contra Costa County). I remember playing it for my girlfriend, Carolyn, and her roommate, and they were both... well, they didn't like it but didn't hate it... more than anything, her voice just didn't fit in with what they expected of a woman fronting a rock band. It was "the shock of the new." I'm still friends with Carolyn, I think I'll give her a call and see if she remembers this...
