  1. Heart of the Night in 73? Interesting, they didn't record it until the Legend album five years later.

  2. Poco played "Heart of the Night" live in 1973 as part of their tour to support their 6th album "Crazy Eyes". The song is also featured on the 1978 album "Legend" and the 1979 hit single.

  3. There is so much misinformation here I don't know where to begin. This post is from several different radio broadcasts. Tracks 1-6 are from 11/2/73 @ FDU. Tracks 7-10 are from an unknown 1975 date in NYC (the singer thanks the NY audience during Track 9). Heart of the Night is from 1979. These dates are all labeled clearly in the I-Tunes files for each song. The band we are hearing is Paul Cotton, Timothy Schmitt, Rusty Young and George Grantham., as pictured. Furay had just left to play with Souther and Hillman, Messina had left two years before to play with Loggins and Meisner was the first to leave to join the Eagles. Just trying to get it right for future generations!
