The Babes are, the Boots are smokin', you know we love you man. Thanks
ReplyDeleteThank you, much appreciated for the FZ Boots :-)
ReplyDeleteBTW, my download is missing track 1...anyone else have this issue?
ReplyDeleteI concur...it's missing.
ReplyDelete#1 & #7 are missing. What is a FLA File?
ReplyDeletehey man, this is one of the best blogs on the net, hands down, and tasteful to boot (and i mean that sincerely) but we know zappa was just trying to score some easy points when he packaged these (to foil them udder bootleggers who were cuttin' in on his floss). Strange they're in flac as i imagine they're a hell of a clatter, as again, not to sound trite but i understood the sound quality was pretty poor on them and that frank himself even was okay with that. dusthammer
ReplyDeleteregardless, this is a great freakin' blog and your efforts are humbly appreciated!
I trouble with that one from day one. Let me check and see if I can fix the F'ing thing.
ReplyDeleteAnon...It shows FLA file when Windows truncates the file name. It's a Flac file. Notice the name of the song on the set list for songs 1 and 7. They're huge. Windows truncates the file name because of all the characters,
ReplyDeleteI've downloaded the file and I get 7 songs. You may have to RENAME the extract package to just a single letter or number as the file names may be causing your winrar or winzip to have an error unpacking. If you still have problems I'll shorten the songs 1 & 7 file name and reup.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the Zappa - can never have enough Frank. I really enjoy the music you share here.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot,brother!
ReplyDeleteIt`s my birthday show and it`s FLAC!
Sorry SW,
ReplyDelete11-13-1970 again? No,that`s a little mistake.
I checked it and I found out: It`s from 3 different sources:Tracks 1,2,5,7 from 05-03-1968 Denver,USA;Tracks 3,6 from 10-20-1968 Amsterdam,NL;Track 4 from 09-28-1968 Essen,GER.But,hey,it`s FLAC again!
Do I want anything else?
The date is directly from the Frank web page. Blame them...lol.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only meatstick that still can't get this muther to work? SOS SW. bbq
ReplyDeleteI'll rename the songs and put up a new link for you folks that are having a problem.
ReplyDelete...please standby.
Thanks for taking the time. bbq
