Pffftt....were was this guy when Biden was nodding out, falling over when a stiff breeze blew, couldn't remember what he was saying, etc? MSNBC, CNN were telling us he was "never better". Now they want to say Trump is cognitively impaired? Sure....go ahead and vote for Kamala and see what happens to this country.
Even if Mr. O'Donnell was wrong on Biden's cognitive abilities, it still does not render the fact that tariff's are paid by American's wrong. Tariff's on foreign goods are as old as this Country. Nary a dime of a tariff has ever been paid by a foreign country. And Mr. Trumpkin's statement is false. End of story.
First; no "if" about Biden's mental decline. Answer this: If he wasn't showing clear signs of serious cognitive decline, then why did his own political party force him out? Second: Are you going to tell me China didn't pay the tariffs Trump imposed on them? I know for a fact they did....unfortunately, I have a friend who is Chinese and to be frank, that ruined his business, as he had already been paid by his customers for goods they purchased from him, and before the goods shipped from China, Trump imposed a stiff tariff that my friend had to pay before he could receive those goods. The tariffs, btw, pretty much ate most of his profits. After that, he could no longer be competitive, and his business took a major hit. And as far as "people pay the tariffs", only if they choose to buy those products. Buy American. End of story. You have been informed! No need to thank me!
It's a sign of blind partisanship to claim mental decline in one party's candidate and ignore it in the other. I'm no expert on cognition (and neither are you), but would a truly stable genius take cheap shots at his own party in Georgia, Florida and elsewhere? Joe Biden willingly did the right thing for the Democrats, because he's a patriot. Orange Foolius is too vain and selfish to do anything that doesn't benefit himself first and foremost.
Economists Pablo Fajgelbaum, Pinelopi Goldberg, Patrick Kennedy, and Amit Khandelwal examined the tariffs on washing machines, solar panels, aluminum, steel, and goods from the European Union and China imposed in 2018 and 2019. They found that U.S. firms and final consumers bore the entire burden of tariffs and estimated a net loss to the U.S. economy of $16 billion annually, including more than $114 billion in losses to firms and consumers, offset by small gains to protected producers and revenue gains to the government.
As a non-partisan side note: Biden kept Trump's tariffs, and added more of them last week. https://www.cnn.com/2024/05/14/politics/biden-tariffs-chinese-imports/index.html
Fucking lies from the government propaganda.
